LO1 M1: Comparison of different interactive products.

A webpage is a simple platform which can be found via the web, it is commonly written in  HTML script. Webpages can be used for various things such as the news, forums and social media. An advantage of a webpage is that it is an easy and fast way to search for information, this means that when someone is wanting to know information they can find it easily on a webpage. However, a limitation for webpages is that it's not as easily accessible for an older person compared to someone who is younger because older people are more like to get confused when trying to find a news webpage. In contrast to this apps have become a lot more simpler to use for the older generation since all they have to do is look for the icon on their phones and then they can tap on it and it opens, although there are still limitations to apps and the main being is that some apps have a larger file sizes. This limits the amount of apps people have on their phones...

  Accessibility - Means people who have disabilities can access the same websites and products as easily as people who don't have any disabilities.  The Equality Act was an act that was passed by parliament in 2010 and it means in the workplace you can't discriminate workers in any way.  Website designers have to make sure the product is easily accessed for someone who has a disability  What is accessibility? How easy is the product for people who are impaired and allows universal access.  Some accessibility settings include things such as colour contrast (high contrast) for people who may find reading stuff in a low contrast hard. Another feature could be stick keys, this can be done by pressing the shift key five times this could help people who struggle with Parkinson's or have no hands.  Starter 07/10/2021
